    1. Our skin health reflects our overall health. Your best long term strategy is likely to involve lifestyle and food changes, aiming to reduce stress and inflammation and create a healthier gut biome.

      For topical treatment, try soothing/anti-inflammatory herbs like lavender, rose hip oil, chamomile, aloe vera, and comfrey. Green tea compresses are another simple option. Just apply a used green tea bag to the area for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. On online search will suggest many different options, but these are some of my “go to” herbs for many different uses. Some of the options I used for clearing my psoriasis may also be helpful for you. You can learn more about those in the Beating Psoriasis series.
