My husband and I make pizza dough weekly as the family comes over for brick oven fired pizza every Friday. Our current kitchenaid mixer has a hard time handling the dough so we have to split it into 2 batches. We have also recently ventured into the world of sourdough baking. This mixer would be a wonderful addition to our food adventure.
Over three years ago, I moved from California to Florida and I still have not been able to get my own place. I’m just renting a room from my stepbrother and I don’t have a mixer. Winning this would motivate me to get in the kitchen more because I used to be an avid baker back in California. I miss it very much, and I also miss my cast stove. The things we take for granted until we no longer have them.
I’d probably use it to knead bread dough and to make large batches of cookies!
With this mixer I would hope to make better bread and it would be fun to make all goodies such as bars, cakes and cookies.

I would use it for kneading bread dough, making pizza dough and mixing cookie dough. My current mixer is just a cheap one, and just making mashed potatoes makes it smell like it’s overheating. So I don’t use it much. I would love to have one with a stronger motor inside. I am intrigued that the Bosch Universal Plus can be used with attachments that would work as a food processor and a blender! That would be a powerful blender!
I want to start making breads for me and my husband. All I have at home is a hand mixer and I have arthritis and can’t knead the bread dough for 5-10 min at a time. I love reading your emails and look forward to them every week.
