Why We Love the Bosch Universal Plus
- Built to last for decades — strong motor, smart design, and easy cleanup.
- Handles big batches — up to 14 pounds of dough!
- Works beautifully for both everyday cooking and serious home baking.
- Optional attachments let you turn it into a full kitchen workstation (slicer, blender, food processor, etc.).
I’ve used Bosch mixers for years — and they’re a real workhorse for homesteaders, bakers, and busy families alike. I love my Universal Plus because it handles double batches of whole wheat bread with no problems. When I was a young mother and tried using bread machines, I burnt out three of them before I invested in a Bosch. It’s been with us ever since.

There is an Unsubscribe to Comments link in all the notification emails. If it doesn’t work, reach out to me via email and I can help. You do not need to select “Subscribe to Comments” to be notified when you win. That’s a separate email.
Also, I manually approve the comments as I have time, so don’t be concerned if your comment doesn’t show up immediately. We get spammers and scammers on the site, so I need to make sure that the comments are from real people and not bots.

I would use to make homemade fresh ground bread for our health and taste.
I would love to win the Bosch mixer!
I love to bake and have used a Kitchen Aid stand mixer for years. It is pretty good but I can see that the Bosch would be so much better. Thanks for offering this contest!
I will use it to make big batches of cookies. Some of the varieties are very heavy! I’ll also try it for my homemade 10-grain sourdough bread!
I would use the mixer to bake bread
Breads definitely and the ability to make light as air sponge cakes again.
Our church has a number of fundraisers and breads are always one of the best sellers; therefore, I would like to begin making breads but don’t have the equipment to do it readily. This would help considerably.
Also, it would be great for home use using ingredients that I know, without chemicals etc.
we would get great use out of it! Baking Christmas cookies for one. Add to that the breads we all love. Having a Bosch Universal!!
I would like to make bread more often. I believe the Bosch stand mixer would definitely make the job easier. I enjoy reading your Common Sense Newsletter!
I recently started making bread for a table at my local farmers market. This would be a great help
first I would like to say I love your emails I feel like I’m right there with you!
second I would like to say my 25-year-old KitchenAid is getting tired of making bread several times a week a Bosch would be really nice!!
thank you for keeping us aware and your ideas are wonderful.
I’ve just started making bread after a l-o-n-g break. Im remembering how I really love the kneading process & the smells -from yeasties growing to the finished loaf. (& making cookies for my 13 grandchildren! Love your emails.
I would use it for breads and cookies!
Would love the Bosch mixer to make multiple loaves of bread.
love your newsletter. Thank you!
I am aiming to make all of my family’s bread including buns, tortillas, etc. I have seen several recipes that incorporate the Bosch mixer and I would love to win one to incorporate into my homemaking. Thanks for the opportunity to win one!
We have a new grandbaby on the way. I would use the mixer to bake up healthy sweets for my expectant daughter. Thank you for providing such interesting & useful content.
I would use the Bosch mixer to replace my hand held one. I love to bake yet the hand held has a downside when need to add,mox 1 egg at a time. Also for bread. I have adopted grandbabies and go through alot of bread. Would love to make homemade more often because I know what ingredients go into it. I have never had an expensive mixer due to the price. At 62 yrs old always had hand helds.
I would use the mixer daily, to make wholesome foods for my family.
Being that folks lost snap benefits and food prices are so high I’d love the ease this could provide for our large batch baking donations . I work with families who have members living with developmental disabilities. I could whip out batches of food more quickly to give away. I love the description from the website. and who knew? ** one egg**!? don’t forget to scroll to the end, I love a good whipped cream with a dash of my homemade vanilla bean vanilla: )
Built to Handle Every Task in Your Kitchen
Heavy-Duty Dough Hook
Engineered to mimic the motion of hand kneading, the dough hook stretches, folds, and tucks for superior gluten development. Knead from a single loaf (3 cups flour) up to 14 one-pound loaves of white or whole grain bread. The included dough hook extender ensures even small batches are perfectly mixed.
Triple Whip Action
Dual wire whips rotate independently while spinning around the bowl, creating a powerful triple-whipping action that builds volume fast. This tool is perfect for delicate whipping tasks like meringues and whipped cream, even with just one egg white.
