Apple Cider Vinegar Tea (Detox Tea Recipe)

This simple detox tea can help settle your stomach and improve weight management.


Units Scale
  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the “mother”)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (optional)
  • 12 teaspoons honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon (optional)
  • dash of cayenne pepper


  1. Boil one cup of water. You can use a kettle or heat the water on the stovetop.
  2. Pour the hot water into a mug and add one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. If desired, sweeten your tea with one to two teaspoons of honey or maple syrup.
  3. For an extra flavor boost, sprinkle in half a teaspoon of ground cinnamon. Cinnamon mellows out the taste and comes with its own set of health benefits.
  4. Use a spoon to mix the ingredients thoroughly. Ensure that the apple cider vinegar is well incorporated into the tea.
  5. Sip on your apple cider vinegar tea while it’s still warm. Keep your spoon handy if you use cinnamon and cayenne, as they like to settle to the bottom of the glass. Stir before you sip to avoid a “cinnamon surprise” at the bottom.
